Basic Birth Support ~ $3,000.
Monthly prenatal visits (minimum of 3). Our goals are getting to you know one another, gain clarity on your desires for the birth, as well as your preferred relaxations techniques and labor positions. We will take time to prepare a birth plan that fits the needs and values of you and your growing family. We will also review your postpartum plans and go over breastfeeding basics. If there is time, our visits will include discussing the changing needs of the body during pregnancy, and review of any upcoming screenings pointing you toward information, education, and informed consent to decide for yourself if you wish to perform them or not. Lastly, you will receive 1 prenatal yoga and movement session just following your final prenatal visit with me. I am available via email, text, and phone in between our scheduled visits for any questions, concerns, or other needs of support.
I will be ON CALL for you beginning at 37 weeks gestation and up to 42 weeks gestation (or whenever you give birth). During this window of time, I am available 24/7 for any questions or concerns and can show up in person either at your home or planned place of delivery. In addition to providing on going support during the labor period, I also aim to support the partner or any other individual that may be present with you. Whether your baby is born vaginally or via c-section I will be present to support you up until you and baby are stable and have transitioned into a recovery period.
Following the birth of the baby, we will schedule 3 postnatal visits, preferably at your home, to process the birth, assess integration, offer recommendations for support, feeding, and other resources for your optimal recovery, as well as get feedback about my role as your doula.
